Clinic Fees & Policies

A price list for our basic service fees can be found here.

We have provided this list to act as a general guide for clients to know the basic costs of our services, however this does not include the cost of medications, procedures performed on the day, or travel charges, which are all charged in addition to the consultation fees included in the price list.

For appointments within the South West region, travel is charged per kilometre from our premises in Margaret River, WA.

Travel cost is $2 per kilometre, however a flat rate may apply if you are located beyond our usual travel region.

1. A cancellation fee will apply if you cancel less than 24 hours prior to the time of your appointment. The cancellation fee is equivalent to the cost of a standard consultation i.e. $150 inclusive of GST.

2. We will not dispense medications to your horse without having had a consultation for your horse within the last 6 months. All new horses to the practice will be charged a consultation fee before medications are able to be dispensed as required by law.

3. If there is a perceived danger to human or horse safety we reserve the right to decline to treat your horse. A consultation fee will still be charged in this circumstance regardless of whether or not treatment was able to be safely performed.

Payment is collected at the time of the services rendered. Payments can be made directly in the form of cash, cheque or card payments through our eftpos terminal. There are no credit card fees charged for card payments.
